Terms & Refund Policy

1. Merchant of Record & Domicile

First Response CPR & First Aid Training is the merchant of record for all training services purchased through this website. Our business is domiciled in Jamaica at 105K Red Hills Road, Shop #7, Kingston 19, Jamaica. Our acquiring bank is Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited, and payments are processed via Genius Checkout. All transactions are charged and settled in Jamaican Dollars (JMD).

2. Service Delivery

Purchased training is delivered as scheduled in-person or hybrid sessions at our Kingston training center or at your agreed on-site location. Certification is issued upon successful course completion and is valid for two (2) years.

3. Cancellation by Customer

• Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled class: full refund.
• Cancellations made 3–6 days before: 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before: non-refundable, but you may reschedule once at no additional cost.
• No-shows are non-refundable but may reschedule once subject to availability.

4. Cancellation by Us

If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no cost. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from cancellation.

5. Refund Processing & Receipts

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. The card-not-present transaction will be reversed through Genius Checkout and Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited. An electronic receipt and confirmation of transaction/refund is automatically issued via email upon completion.

6. Card-Not-Present Transactions & 3D Secure Authentication

All online payments are card-not-present transactions processed on our hosted payment pages via Genius Checkout and Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited. Transactions support 3D Secure authentication (Visa Secure and Mastercard ID Check) to verify cardholder identity and protect against unauthorized transactions. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge, confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions, and confirm that the cardholder is authorized to use the payment method.

7. Group & On-Site Training

Group and on-site training quotes are subject to a separate agreement. Deposits for group bookings are 50% refundable if cancelled 14 or more days before the scheduled date.
